President Liz Stuart Discusses Violence Against Teachers with Canadian Media

Recently, President Liz Stuart spoke to several provincial and national news outlets about violence against teachers in schools.

Appearing as the featured guest on CBC Radio’s live phone-in program, “Ontario Today,” President Stuart spoke with Rita Celli about the growing problem of violence against teachers, and outlined some of the Association’s advocacy efforts on this issue. President Stuart also appeared as part of a television segment for CBC Ottawa’s nightly news program, which detailed the experiences of a Catholic teacher who had been subject to an alleged student attack. Part of this conversation was also included in a segment for CBC’s flagship news broadcast, “The National.”

Additionally, on November 19, President Stuart was one of the featured guests on CBC Radio’s “Cross Country Checkup” with host Duncan McCue.
