It also includes book reviews on student books (e.g., recent reviews include The Wall by Eve Bunting and Terry Fox: A Story of Hope).
Global Encounters International Student Video Conferences
Global Encounters is an international student video conference program, offered through a partnership between the Centre for Global Education (CGE) and TakingITGlobal (TIG). They host dozens of events on critical global issues such as child soldiers and armed conflict, women's rights, mental health, climate change, and many more. Each conference includes a live event, preceded by a week-long online program of activities through which students learn about the topics at hand, collaborate with one another, and receive mentorship from experts.
Learn With The World. iLEARN is the oldest and largest network of educators and students who are using technology to connect with one another in order to engage in a variety of curriculum related projects that make a difference in the world.

This is an interactive, online data tool that teaches young people about the gaps and inequities in access to education.
