“Two months have passed since I’ve returned home and I am still processing everything I’ve learned from the people and the island of St. Vincent. Together, as teachers from across Canada and teachers living on a small island in the Caribbean, we stood together in solidarity and learned from each other. We were able to relate on so many teacher “issues” such as increasing class size, inclusivity and time constraints. The demands we face as teachers seem to be common across borders and overseas.

Project Overseas is a chance to share one’s God-given gifts with teachers throughout the world. Thank you OECTA for the opportunity to share and receive such an invaluable gift this summer.”
